It's a sad day in the Republic when you have to assess which is the bigger worry; and, therefore, how to take news of a first-step modified loans program, at last, from the Bush Administration, that is more than "Hope Now"...
Right now, I'd bet that the housing market worries are larger, at least in the short-run.
